Last Updated on April 1, 2024 by Ali Hamza

Kubota L Series is a series of 10 tractors that are divided into two sub-series, the Standard L and Grand L. The gross horsepower ratings range from 24.8 to 47.3 on Standard L models to 37 to 62 on Grand L models. We’ll be reviewing the entry-level model of the Grand L series this week. However, Kubota’s confusing numerology, nomenclature and numerology make it difficult to understand. So we’ll start with an overview of the entire L series. Also Read: Tractor Price in Pakistan

Standard L tractor models are built on two chassis sizes. They come with two Kubota transmission options: an 8F/4R gear, (L2501) and an 8F/8R (rest the models), or a three range hydrostatic (HST). There is no factory-built cab option.

Standard L tractors, which are considered “value” offerings, have lower hydraulics, no option to a mid-power lift-off (PTO), joystick attached to the loader stool, fixed lower link ends (3PH) and turnbuckle stabilisers. These tractors are capable, but also have enough niceties to blur the lines between “value” and “deluxe”.

Grand L tractors can be built on three sizes of chassis and have three Kubota transmission options: an 8F/8R Fully synchronized Main and Shuttle (FST), with two ranges and a 12F/8R Glove Shift (GST), which has the clutchless operation. There is also a three-range HST+ transmission that adds electronic control.

The entire lineup is equipped with a factory cab option. Grand L tractors come with many extra niceties, including an increased hydraulic capability, mid-PTO option and a joystick integrated in the operator cockpit. They also have telescopic stabilizer ends and an outboard pin adjustable stabilir arrangement.

Grand L3560 is a Kubota ETVCS engine. It produces 35 net horsepower and 60 development itinerations =3560. This engine uses common rail system injection (CRS), exhaust gas recirculation, and a diesel particulate filtrate (DPF) to comply with EPA Final Tier 4(FT4). The 111.4-cubic inch three-cylinder engine is rated at 2700 rpm. The PTO rating for tractors equipped with FST or GST transmissions is 29 horsepower

Hydraulics are run through a twin pump system that pumps 8.3 gpm for implement demand and 4.9 to the power steering circuit (total of 13.2 gpm). The Cat I 3PH has a lifting capacity of 2646lbs. This is measured at 24 inches behind the lift point. Standard position control allows for the quick and efficient return of an implement to its original point. Also Read: Suzuki Alto Price in Pakistan

Draft control is available, which adjusts 3PH depth depending on load. Up to three remotes can be supported by the system. The system’s adjustability of lower link ends, stabilizers and pivots makes it easier to hook up implements. This feature is sure to be appreciated. Implement drive is completed by an independent PTO rear 540 rpm and a mid rpm of 2000 rpm (if equipped).

Kubota’s LA555, which can deliver an 1190 lb., has two curved boom loaders. Lift capacity up to 92.9 inches with a dump clearance 72.4″, or the LA805, which can lift 1720 lb. Lift capacity up to 105″ with a dump clearance 80.4″. The two-lever skidsteer compatible attachment system is included. It can also support an optional third function kit that allows for a 4-in-1 bucket and grapple to be run. The LA805 cycles in 3.2 seconds with full raise, 2.0 seconds with lower, 1.9 second full curl, and 1.3 second full dump. The 72-inch bucket fits perfectly with the LA805 and covers the tread in the widest possible position. Kubota’s hydraulic system allows simultaneous lift/curl and lower/dump. This can save you time and be a great time-saver.

Kubota offers two backhoes to match the Grand L3560. The BH77 has a 91-inch dig depth, 180 degree swing arc and 160.2 inches reach. There is also a breakout force of 3339 lbs and 2097 lbs to the bucket cylinder or dipper stick. The BH92 has a 109.8 inch dig depth, 180° swing arc and 192.3 inches reach.

There is also a breakout force of 4548 lbs to the bucket cylinder, 2698 lbs to the dipper stick and bucket cylinder and cylinder and cylinders The seats of both backhoes are separate so it is easy to switch from tractor operator position to backhoe. There are bucket sizes available from 10″ to 36″, as well as a mechanical thumb option.

You’ll find the spacious operator cockpit with a flat floor. There is a slight transmission hump, an intuitive control layout, tilt wheel, tilt wheel, tilt and a deluxe suspension chair with swivel function. An air-ride option is also available. It’s not surprising that most control levers are located in the right fender console, even though there is a cab option.

These include the loader joystick, cupholder & storage tray, 3PH position control, 3PH draft control (if so equipped), PTO engagement/disengagement switch, and rear remote levers (if so outfitted). The dash module has backlighting and can be read in the sun. It includes an analog trip meter, fuel and temperature gauges, an LCD readout, an LCD display with functions such as engine hours and fuel consumption, particulate filter accumulation, PTO rpm and fuel consumption. Although there is an option to tie into the electronic power system behind the seat, there is not a standard 12V outlet. It has a 71.1 inch wheelbase with 13.5″ ground clearance. When folded down, the height from the ROPS’ top is 97.2 inches. With braking aid, the turn radius is 8.9′. Comparatively, the Grand L3560 with LA805 Loader and 72″ Bucket measures 174″ from the 3PH lower link to the bucket edge.

The Grand L3560 is a budget-friendly, capable tractor that comes in at $25,393. It includes tractor, R4 tires and mid-PTO. Kubota’s legendary reliability is backed by a 6-year powertrain warranty (0% 84 Months with 20% Down) and incentives that include 0%-60 months 0% cash back. The Kubota GrandL3560 is well worth considering for homeowners with acreage, hobby farmers, municipalities, or other landscape businesses.
