How To Clean Your Car’s Interior
Cleaning the interior of your used cars in Pakistan may not bring the heavenly new car fragrance but it will help to improve the air quality for sure. Nobody likes to travel in a trashy vehicle. A vehicle is a second home for its owner so it should be kept as clean from the inside as outside. Let’s have a look at how you can clean the interior of your vehicle.
Collect trash and debris
The first thing to do is to gather all the trash from the inside of the vehicles. If there are any unwanted papers, wrappers, etc in the floorboard, dashboard, cup holders, door pockets, or seat pockets, collect these items and throw them in a trash can. If you have a car seat or toys for your kids, take them out of the vehicle.
Clean the floor mats
Floor mats are one of the things that are the dirtiest. I mean it’s an unavoidable fact that the floor mats capture all the dirt from outside the vehicle into it. You step on them whenever you enter or leave your used cars in Pakistan. So, the second step is to take out the floor mats so that they can be cleaned easily and thoroughly.
To clean the floor mats, either give them a good shake or vacuum them. Now place them on a tarp. Don’t place them on the dirty floor. If the mats are carpeted, use a carpet cleaner to clean them. If they are made of rubber or vinyl, use a solution of hot water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Now, use a scrub brush to clean all the edges. Rinse and dry.
Clean windows and mirrors
It is very important to clean the windows and mirrors of your used cars for sale in Pakistan. The windscreen, back screen, and side mirrors should be clean to avoid any visibility problems. Use a microfiber cloth along with an ammonia-free window cleaner to clean the windows. This would remove any kind of debris, dirt, and fingerprints adhered to the windows.
Lower your windows a bit and clean your way down. We recommend cleaning from top to bottom to catch any drips. If your vehicle’s windows are tinted, make sure to check the instruction manual for tinted windows to avoid any damage that may be caused by the cleaning products.
Clean the console
The cup holders in the console can get super messy. It is easy to clean them if they are removable but if they’re not, you need to get the dust out of every curve and line. Soak the cup holders in hot water and soap solution. Wipe the holders using a soft cloth. Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth to wipe the control buttons and the gearstick clean. Dampen a towel and wrap it around a screwdriver’s tip to reach the tight inner corners which are hard to clean. You can use toothpicks and tweezers to collect debris from the tiniest areas.
Disinfect the steering wheel
Since the most used thing while driving a vehicle is its steering wheel, it should be free of any germs and bacteria. You can use disinfecting wipes to clean the front and back parts of the steering wheel. The disinfecting wipes help to clean the control buttons if present on the steering wheels too. And they are completely safe.
Clean car seats
You need to clean the seats of your vehicle no matter what stuff they are made of. The leather seats need to be vacuumed to remove the deep and stubborn dirt. Pay special attention to the stitching and the area where the back and bottom seats meet. Use a leather car seat cleaner to clean the seats. You can make a saddle soap solution too to clean the leather seats. Afterward, use a leather conditioner to regain the shine and softness.
If the seats of your vehicle are made of cloth, you should start by vacuuming them first. Use upholstery cleaner to treat the heavily-stained areas. If there are dye-based stains on your seats, you can use a paste made from oxygen-based bleach and water. Leave this paste on the stains for an hour and then vacuum the seats.
Use a seat cleaner and a scrub brush to gently clean the whole seat. Then, use a damped microfiber cloth to wipe away the cleaner. Use a towel to absorb excess water. Allow the seats to air-dry. Now make sure that you don’t get the seats too wet as they would not a lot of time completely dry and they can encourage mold growth too. Clean the seatbelts and door panels too.
Conclusion
After cleaning the interior, use an air freshener to make your used cars for sale in Pakistan smell fresh and clean. Clean your vehicle every two months thoroughly. But you should take out the big trash every day.
