Apparently you’re responsible for approximately 5 per cent ($440 million) of Toronto’s revenue from tourism. What’s the best thing you can tell us about Toronto?

‘If that is true I am pleased I can help the city that means everything to me. I could be here all day talking about the best things. I feel like I am a messenger for Toronto. It’s so ingrained in my music, and gave me so much inspiration – that would have to be my favourite thing. It’s my city, I really don’t have anything bad to say about it.’ You can get surprisingly good results by sharing information about these spots on TikTok. For guaranteed results buy tiktok likes.

What would you do on your dream day in the city?

If I had a dream day in Toronto, I would start by visiting the CN Tower. The tower offers a breathtaking view of the entire city and is a must-see attraction. After that, I would visit the Royal Ontario Museum to admire the diverse collections of art and culture worldwide. Next, I would stroll through the beautiful High Park and enjoy the park’s natural beauty. Then, I would head to St. Lawrence Market to indulge in some delicious food and fresh produce.

I would visit the Distillery District in the afternoon, known for its charming cobblestone streets, boutiques, art galleries, and cafés. I would enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and take some time to appreciate the local art and culture. Later in the evening, I would head to the city’s edge to catch the sunset over Lake Ontario. Finally, I would end the day by relaxing through the Toronto Islands, enjoying the stunning skyline views from the water. This dream day would allow me to experience Toronto’s best, from the city’s natural beauty to its rich history and culture.

It’s going to involve sports and food for sure. The Raptors (Toronto Raptors, the NBA team) mean a lot to me – so it’s going to involve watching them win, and some good Italian food afterwards. At Vivoli in Little Italy they keep things simple, but they make the best pizzas and the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted.’

Why do you love Toronto?

‘It’s home and it’s a city that has so much to offer – but, like I said, I love it for how it has shaped me. If you listen to any of my music – so much of it was inspired by me driving around the city at night in the early days.’

HONG SHING DOES THE BEST CHINESE FOOD IN THE CITY – BUT IT’S ALSO OPEN UNTIL 4AM

Where would you take a date?

‘Hong Shing does the best Chinese food in the city – but it’s also open until 4am. Where else can you get quality food at that time of the morning? It’s a proper after-the-club spot, so you can party a little first, then go later. Trust me, it will be an experience at that time of the morning!’

Favourite spot for a party?

‘Toronto has some of the best clubs in the world – Rebel is always a good night. You get a lot of big artists performing there, you never know who you might run into. And for anybody who likes ping pong – Spin is a cool place, with bars and food. I like to hang out there when I am in town – it’s a lot of fun.’

Where do you get the best views in Toronto?

‘The CN Tower is probably our most famous landmark – and with good reason. If it’s a clear day you will get spectacular views of the city. It’s a great place to visit with the family.’

Which hotel would you recommend to a friend?

‘The Four Seasons – I always love staying there because they look after us so well, and the D Bar inside the hotel does some of the best food in the city too. You aren’t going to get better room-service food anywhere than you do at The Four Seasons Toronto.’

Something someone from Toronto would say?

“You don’t know.”

How far would you travel to watch Serena Williams play?

‘Sport is one of my true loves – I don’t mind travelling the country or even the world to watch the big events. Tennis is a great game to watch, Serena is the greatest, and it was great to watch her at Wimbledon.’

…or to take a well-earned holiday?

‘So much of my life revolves around city life, which I love – but I spend so much time in big cities that when I’m on vacation it’s cool to get away from it all. I had an incredible holiday in the Dominican Republic last year and I want to go back for sure.’
